FemCity Nashville Vice President (Volunteer)

The Vice President for FemCity Nashville supports the President in leading the chapter, ensuring smooth operations, strong member engagement, and alignment across all leadership roles. MUST BE A PAID FEMCITY MEMBER - NOT ON A 30 DAY FREE TRIAL.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Chapter Support

  • Support the President in overall chapter leadership and strategy

  • Step in to lead meetings or events when the President is unavailable

  • Help guide and support Leadership Circle members in their roles

Operations & Coordination

  • Assist in overseeing chapter initiatives, events, and programming

  • Ensure communication and alignment across Membership, Marketing, and Event Chairs

  • Help keep timelines, goals, and responsibilities on track

Member Engagement & Community Building

  • Attend events and actively advocate for FemCity Nashville

  • Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and collaborative community

  • Encourage connections, partnerships, and member involvement

Leadership Circle Development

  • Support recruitment and onboarding of Leadership Circle members

  • Provide guidance and encouragement to maintain engagement and accountability

A group of engaged members who support the local President with programming, events, and member connection.

Time Commitment

  • Monthly board meeting (Zoom, ~1 hour)

  • Event attendance and leadership support

  • One year term

Key Responsibilities

Digital Marketing & Content Creation

  • Manage and post content on Instagram, Facebook page, and Facebook groups

  • Create engaging posts, stories, and reels

  • Capture event photography and short-form video content

  • Highlight members, events, and community moments

  • Maintain a consistent and on-brand online presence

Member Engagement & Networking

  • Attend events and advocate for FemCity Nashville

  • Connect members and encourage collaboration

  • Promote member businesses through content and tagging

New Member Experience

  • Welcome and spotlight new members on social media

  • Promote upcoming events and encourage participation

Event Support

  • Capture photos/videos at events

  • Assist in creating a welcoming, inclusive environment

The Membership Chair for FemCity Nashville plays a vital role in building a connected, welcoming, and thriving community of women in business. Role Overview
As Membership Chair, you will serve as the connector and ambassador of the community—helping members feel welcomed, engaged, and supported while encouraging collaboration and growth within the network.

Key Responsibilities

Member Engagement & Networking

  • Attend FemCity Nashville events and actively advocate for the community

  • Introduce members to one another to foster relationships and collaboration

  • Identify and suggest potential partnerships between members

New Member Experience

  • Send personalized welcome messages to new members

  • Invite new members to upcoming events and help them get involved quickly

Event Support

  • Be the first point of welcome at events

  • Coordinate and organize nametags

  • Help ensure a friendly, inclusive event atmosphere

Membership Coordination

  • Maintain and organize the membership list

  • Support communication between leadership and members

What is the FemCity Leadership Circle?

The Leadership Circle is a group of engaged local FemCity members who support the local President and chapter through:

  • Curriculum and programming input

  • Event support and planning

  • Strengthening member connections and community engagement

Time Commitment

  • Attend monthly board meeting (via Zoom) — approximately 1 hour

  • Attend local events and support membership engagement

  • One Year Term
